Senior or Principal Transport Engineer

Our client, a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy, has been operating in the UK for over 30 years. They are currently seeking a Senior or Principal level Transport Engineer to join a friendly team in Leicester. To be considered for this Transport Engineer role you will;

• Hold a BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
• 5 years post graduate experience
• Chartered or working towards with ICE, CIHT or TPP
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Maintaining strong client relationships
• Strong knowledge of local transport policies
• Ability to liaise with Highways Engineers, Planning Consultants, Architects and clients
• Prepare high quality transport statements, transport assessments and project documentation
• Be proficient in relevant transport software and traffic modelling software
• Strong communication skills
• Carry out complex junction analysis
• Be a positive team player
• Full driving licence
