This Linux System Administrator will be joining a re-structured, dynamic core system team working closely with the founder to bring new ideas, technology and a personality to the role with a level of autonomy that allows ownership of the design, installation and maintenance of the company’s platforms.

This Linux System Administrator based near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:

• Varied operating system exposure - ubuntu, RHEL etc
• Solid web server experience - Apache, Nginx etc
• Load balancing software exposure - Kemp, HAProxy etc
• Solid database knowledge - MariaDB, MySQL etc
• Replicated storage system - DRBD
• Any containerization & IaC exposure would be useful - docker , Kubernetes, terraform, ansible etc
• Knowledge of bash scripting
• Solid understanding of server hardware
• Git version control experience
• Any open sourcing programming and AWS exposure would be a real plus
