We are working with a leading M&E contractor delivering high-profile projects across the Commercial, Data Centre and Financial Services sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging projects valued up to £20m, working with blue-chip clients in live and critical environments.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of mechanical packages, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

You will:

Lead mechanical packages on projects up to £20m

*

Manage site teams including Mechanical Supervisors and subcontractors

*

Oversee programme, procurement and cost control

*

Drive quality assurance and compliance

*

Liaise directly with clients, consultants and main contractors

*

Manage commissioning, witnessing and final handover

*

Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times

Projects will span high-end commercial office fit outs, mission-critical data centres, and financial services environments where precision, programme and coordination are key.

About You

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E contracting

*

Strong background delivering commercial, data centre or financial services projects

*

Experience on projects valued £5m–£20m

*

Excellent client-facing and communication skills

*

Strong technical understanding of HVAC, plant rooms and mechanical building services

*

Able to manage fast-paced, technically demanding environments
