Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

As a Service Desk Analyst you will:
- Log calls in line with ITIL practices (Incidents, Change, Service Requests)
- Allocate and update tickets appropriately
- Perform first-line triage and first-line fixes
- Respond to incoming calls and emails professionally
- Implement basic changes
- Monitor systems for alerts and take appropriate action
- Monitor application mailboxes
- Process service requests
- Produce and maintain internal and external reports
- Carry out basic application administration (Rubrik, Druva, Zerto, Commvault)
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a technical support or service desk environment (or relevant placement year)
- Basic technical background with a strong desire to develop
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Understanding or awareness of ITIL processes
- Interest or exposure to backup and DR technologies (Rubrik, Druva, Zerto, Commvault, NetBackup advantageous)
- Familiarity with VMware (vCenter, ESX, VDS, NSX) beneficial
- Exposure to Azure and/or AWS advantageous
- Basic Scripting/automation knowledge (PowerShell desirable)
- Strong documentation skills
- Positive attitude towards training and development
- Able to work independently in a fully remote environment
