Are you an experienced CNC Engineer looking for a new challenge?

We are working with an established precision engineeringmanufacturer to bolster their manufacturing team following recent growth. As CNC Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the NPI, optimization, and continuous improvement of CNC machining processes.

Salary & Hours:c£45,000 per annum as a guide. 8:00am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 12:00pm Friday 37 hours.

This CNC Engineerjob will suit:

• Comefrom a precision engineering background looking to work within an office environment.
• Some prior experience using CAM software (flexible on package) and Vericut software
• Experience with CNC machining, automation, or production equipment (Siemens, Fanuc controls ideally)
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100

The CNC Engineer job will involve:

• Support in the programming of new and current machine tools
• Develop, implement, and improve CNC manufacturing processes
• Provide hands-on support to production and troubleshoot process issues
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard work
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs
• Support new product introductions, process changes, and equipment launches
• Analyse production data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
