A leading manufacturer of bespoke special-purpose machinery is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its growing engineering team.

The Control Systems Engineer will lead the design and integration of complex bespoke machinery across mechanical, electrical, control, and software disciplines. You will develop system architectures, define interfaces, and support projects from concept through to commissioning.

Key responsibilities include translating customer requirements into functional designs, producing FDS documentation, supporting control philosophy development, overseeing system integration, coordinating risk assessments, and supporting FAT, SAT, and commissioning. You will also contribute to HMI design, test documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.

Control Systems Engineer requirements:

• Experience designing or integrating complex electromechanical systems or bespoke machinery
• Strong understanding of automation, PLCs, sensors, motion control, and industrial networks
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and control documentation
• Full project lifecycle experience
