We are seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving improvements across a modern, fast-paced distribution facility, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting the development of maintenance systems.

- Week 1: Mon–Fri, 07:00–15:00
- Week 2: Mon–Fri, 15:00–23:00

The Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvements across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out effective fault-finding and defect repairs to minimise downtime.
- Support the transition from a reactive maintenance culture to a more proactive approach.
- Maintain and optimise automated machinery, including volume-picking and conveyor systems.
- Engage and manage external contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Assist in the delivery of technical and supply chain projects, contributing to site development and efficiency.
About You:
- Time-served engineer with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong background in electrical maintenance, with additional mechanical skills (approx. 60/40 split).
- Skilled in working with drives, hydraulics, inverters, and automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to influence change and drive improvements.
- IT literate, with the ability to utilise software and data to support maintenance strategies.
- Able to pass a DBS check and provide proof of qualifications.
