We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support a major public sector customer based in Manchester. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining secure digital services that directly impact citizens and public services.

Working within a multidisciplinary agile team, you will collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a complex, multi-supplier environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Front End and Back End components across digital services
• Develop secure, scalable APIs and user-facing applications
• Collaborate effectively with QA, DevOps, Product, and other delivery partners
• Clearly communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to code reviews and promote engineering best practice
• Work confidently within a complex, multi-supplier public sector landscape
• Proactively identify issues and drive continuous improvement
• Maintain a strong delivery focus with attention to quality, security, and outcomes

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong full stack development experience

  • Front End: React or Angular
  • Back End: Java, Node.js, and Python

• Experience delivering software in agile environments

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Comfortable working in regulated or governance-driven environments

• Active SC Clearance

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within UK public sector environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
