Junior Maintenance Engineer

Up to £34,000 + bonus

A vacancy has arisen for a Junior Maintenance Engineer to carry out calibration, maintenance and servicing of pharmaceutical production equipment. This role would suit an up and coming engineer looking for a fantastic employer to grow and learn.

The successful Junior Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Proactive and reactive maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment - both 3rd party and
  in-house designed.
• Be responsible for carrying out all disciplines of maintenance and calibration to
  pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
• Following company SOPs and producing documentation and certification which is clear,
  precise and accurate
• Conduct failure analysis and put forward recommendations to alleviate future failures,
  enhancing reliability.
• Using health & safety software to write risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work when necessary.
• Creating and updating records in the company quality management system (Q-Pulse)

Junior Maintenance Engineer must:

• Have a minimum level 3 qualification in Engineering
• Be flexible to occasional extended hours/weekend work (In addition to a normal 37 hour, 5 day shift operation)
• Be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment (existing knowledge of GMP practices beneficial but not essential)
• Have experience using Microsoft Office suite
• Have an analytical mind with acute attention to detail
• Have good problem-solving abilities
• Be a strong team player
