They are growing rapidly and are seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance customer relationships, drive retention, and support the growth of our client base.
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture long-term relationships, and work closely with technical teams to deliver solutions that align with client needs. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, commercially sharp, and passionate about the cybersecurity sector.
Skills & Experience
Required
- Proven experience in B2B business development, preferably within cybersecurity, IT services, consulting, or technology.
- Strong understanding of cyber risk, security frameworks, or managed security services (technical expertise not essential).
- Demonstrated success managing full sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong pipeline management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in Scottish or UK cybersecurity markets.
- Existing network within commercial or public-sector organisations.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, penetration testing, risk assessments, or compliance services.
