IT Compliance Support Engineer – Hull
6 Month Contract | £420–£450 per day (inside IR35)

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading technology organisation who is looking for an IT Compliance Support Engineer to strengthen IT controls and make compliance straightforward, practical, and effective.

You’ll be the go-to person for audit and compliance support, helping the business maintain strong governance while enabling development teams to work efficiently. This is a highly visible role where your work directly impacts productivity, operational resilience, and governance standards.

Duties of the IT Compliance Support Engineer:

• Supporting audits end-to-end: preparing evidence packs, maintaining documentation, and demonstrating IT controls
• Translating complex technical processes into clear, business-friendly explanations
• Embedding IT controls across change management, access control, and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Tracking risks, managing audit findings, and coordinating remediation with development teams
• Acting as the liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure compliance is clear and achievable

Skills & Experience You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience with C#, SQL, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Jira
• Knowledge of Change Management, Audit Compliance, and IT Controls
• Experience creating documentation, risk assessments, and control implementation
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organisational ability
