We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our production team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality output by carrying out complex production testing and in-depth diagnostics on both new builds and returned assemblies.

Key Responsibilities of the Test Engineer

• Perform PCBA testing in line with provided work instructions and test procedures.
• Diagnose faults down to component level on assemblies that fail testing.
• Verify completed work for compliance before releasing to the next stage.
• Accurately record job history and maintain route card information.
• Proactively highlight issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality.
• Follow all Health & Safety, quality, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
• Liaise closely with Engineering, Production, and other internal departments as required.

Qualifications & Requirements of the Test Engineer

• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Understanding of ESD controls.
• Awareness of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards.

• Confident using PCs and tablets in a production environment.
