A global consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their banking end-client on a large Identity & Verification (ID&V) transformation project. The purpose of this role is to lead and deliver the modernised Identity & Verification (ID&V) roadmap, oversee the proof of concept execution, minimum viable product build, and phased rollout across Helpdesk and Self Service channels.
Job Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: initially until 30th Sep 2026
• Rate: £495pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
• Location: Greater Manchester
• Hybrid: 3 days in the office

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery across Microsoft Verified ID, Onfido, MFA and ID&V modernisation initiatives.
• Manage scope, timelines, risk, and stakeholder alignment across CISO, Engineering and Helpdesk teams.
• Govern the POC process: execution, documentation, success criteria assessment, decision capture, and executive socialisation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Solution Architecture, Engineering, BA, UX, Security).
• Provide robust progress reporting, RAID management, and release governance.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering security or identity transformation programmes at enterprise scale.
• Delivery experience across authentication, multi-factor authentication, self-service password reset or ID&V programmes
• Familiarity with POC/MVP delivery cycles and agile/hybrid delivery models
