FPGA Design Contract - Space Manufacturing

My client is working in partnership with one of the worlds leading space manufacturing organisations and is looking for an experienced FPGA Engineer to join a short-term contract on a high-impact space project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform FPGA design for a space-flight systems
• Develop and maintain verification testbenches
• Conduct code review and sign-off activities
• Support final readiness activities in a high-reliability / space environment
• Collaborate closely with the existing engineering team and key stakeholders

Required Experience:

• Strong experience as an FPGA engineer using VHDL/Verilog

• Experience working with high-reliability, space, defence, or safety-critical systems

• Ability to quickly understand and adapt existing FPGA designs

• Experience with Microchip RTAX (radiation-tolerant, OTP) FPGAs is a big bonus
