We are looking for an SC Cleared UCD Service Designer to support a programme within secure central government or defence. This role will focus on service design for complex systems, platforms and data-led dashboards, rather than public-facing websites or simple application journeys.

The successful candidate will bring a strong user-centred design mindset, with experience shaping end-to-end services in secure, public sector environments.

Some user research experience is highly desirable, particularly where designers are required to work closely with users to validate assumptions and improve service outcomes within constrained or classified settings.

Key Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance
• Proven experience working in secure central government or defence environments
• Strong UCD and service design experience across complex systems, platforms or dashboards
• Experience designing services that sit behind the scenes, supporting operational or analytical users
• User research experience, including planning and conducting research to inform design decisions
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary delivery teams
