We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong Neo4j Aura expertise to design, build, and operate scalable graph-based data platforms in the cloud. You will work on high-impact systems that leverage managed Neo4j AuraDB for Real Time insights, relationships, and complex data modelling. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement graph data models using Neo4j AuraDB (Professional/Enterprise) Build and optimise Cypher queries for performance and scalability Integrate Neo4j Aura with cloud-native applications (REST, GraphQL, event-driven systems) Manage data ingestion pipelines (Kafka, Spark, ETL tools, APIs) Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot Neo4j Aura performance and availability Implement security, access control, and data governance best practices Collaborate with product, data, and Back End teams to translate business problems into graph solutions Support production workloads with high availability and disaster recovery requirements Required Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Neo4j, specifically Neo4j Aura Expert knowledge of Cypher and graph data modelling Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Backend development experience (Java, Kotlin, Python, or Node.js) Understanding of distributed systems and database performance tuning Familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation, and infrastructure-as-code Desirable/Nice to Have: Neo4j Certified Professional or Advanced Certification Experience with Real Time analytics, fraud detection, recommendations, or network analysis Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or Pulumi Exposure to event streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub) Prior experience with regulated industries (finance, telecom, healthcare)
