Senior Civil Engineer Consultancy

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team, working on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, and retirement & care projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and delivery of civil engineering projects
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
• Manage project teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
• Undertake site visits, inspections, and feasibility assessments
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Support business development, including proposal preparation and client meetings

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer (IEng) or working towards chartership (preferred)
• Proven experience in civil engineering design and project management within a consultancy environment
• Experience combining drainage, external works, and highways design
• Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure design, drainage, highways, or related areas
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar design software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
