About the Role

A leading fire & security company in Hampshire is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing team. This is a field-based role covering Hampshire and surrounding areas, carrying out installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
• Installation and commissioning of new fire alarm systems
• Fault-finding and diagnostics across a range of manufacturers
• Completing all relevant paperwork, reports, and compliance documentation
• Ensuring work is carried out to British Standards (BS 5839)
• Providing excellent customer service while working on client sites
• Participating in an on-call rota (if required)

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, or Notifier
• Understanding of BS 5839 regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK driving licence
• ECS/CSCS, FIA units, or manufacturer training (desirable but not essential)
