Role: Contract Senior EC&I Engineer

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid 2 Days From Home)

Job Type: 12 month contract outside of IR35

Rate: £55 Per Hr

A well-established engineering firm specialising in the design and delivery of complex rotating equipment and handling systems is looking to hire a Senior EC&I Engineer on a long-term outside IR35 contract. (initial 12 month duration).

Youll join a highly skilled team working on a strong pipeline of projects in the energy and industrial sectors. This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 remote) based in Glasgow.

Key Experience Sought:

• Proven EC&I engineering background within heavy industrial environments.
• Electrical design experience.
• Solid knowledge of MV motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
• Hazardous area design experience (IEC 60079, ATEX)
• Experience with skid-mounted/package units (instrument hook-up, loop checks, cabling, glands, JBs)
• Familiarity with machine monitoring systems (e.g. Bently Nevada)
• Strong documentation and drawing skills (AutoCAD, P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, panel layouts, etc.)
