We are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider to recruit for a Security and Engineering Manager on an interim basis. You will oversee all engineering and security installations, repairs and maintenance for their properties.

Responsibilities of the Security & Engineering Manager:

• Managing the security systems engineers and subcontractors
• Acting as lead maintenance manager for BAFE SP203-1
• Keeping up to date records on all work undertaken for the management of security, fire and access systems
• Ensuring prompt payments of services
• Ensuring all H&S requirements are met
• Producing regular reports
• Carrying out regular site audits
• Carrying out team meetings and toolbox talks

Essential criteria of the Security & Engineering Manager:

• Experience and knowledge of intruder, fire and door access security systems
• Experience of managing several workstreams / security engineering projects
• UK Driving license
• Knowledge, experience and understanding of the maintenance of non-domestic Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Qualification in BS 5839-1 and BAFE SP203-1 with maintenance content (Level 3 or higher) or be willing to work towards
