Data Management EngineerLocation: Warton (BAE Systems)Contract Length: 12 monthsHours: Full-time, 37 hrs/week (Mon–Fri)Working pattern: Full-time site based OverviewBAE are looking for a hands-on Data Management Engineer to support data quality and governance activities across the business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to cleanse, correct, and improve data within enterprise systems, delivering measurable improvements to data accuracy and business performance.Key Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver data cleanse and data change activities
• Implement approved data changes manually or via automation
• Apply data standards, change processes, and governance controls
• Work with stakeholders to confirm change closure and benefits
• Support reporting and data quality reviews

Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of data management principles (e.g. DMBOK)
• Experience with data changes, migrations, and automation
• Strong analytical skills with tools such as Excel, Python, Alteryx, Tableau
• Confident stakeholder communication and independent working style

Qualifications

• HNC or Degree in a technical subject (preferred)
