ABOUT

A highly accredited and well-established Fire & Security company is looking to recruit an experienced Service Fire and Security Engineer to join their service team in Leeds. This role is focused on the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites.

Experienced Fire Alarm Engineers with a strong service background are also encouraged to apply.

• £34,000–£40,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
• Realistic OTE of £48,000

Responsibilities - Service Fire and Security Engineer:

As a Service Fire and Security Engineer, your role will include:

• Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
• Servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting
• Fault-finding and reactive maintenance
• Participation in the call-out rota
• Working independently across customer sites
• Ensuring all works comply with British Standards and company procedures
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation accurately

Requirements - Service Fire and Security Engineer:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the fire and security industry
• Strong servicing and fault-finding experience with fire alarms
• Knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting
• Electrical qualifications (18th Edition) – desirable
• Fire extinguisher knowledge – desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• ECS or CSCS card – desirable
