Shift Engineer - Building Services

We are recruiting an experienced Shift Engineer for a critical commercial site in Canary Wharf. The role involves carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, and fault-finding across Mechanical & Electrical building services.

Key Duties

• PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems
• Fault finding on HVAC, UPS, generators, and LV electrical systems
• Use of BMS and alarm systems to monitor building performance
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure plant is returned to service quickly
• Supervise subcontractors and operate Permit to Work / LOTO systems
• Ensure H&S compliance, paperwork completion, and CMMS updates
• Maintain plant rooms and professional site standards

Requirements

• Experience in a Shift Engineer or M&E Engineer role
• Strong fault-finding skills
• City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ (or equivalent)
• Experience in commercial or critical environments
