Overview
We are looking for experienced COBOL Developers with strong hands-on expertise in FIS Systematics to support and enhance core banking platforms. This is a delivery-focused role within a regulated financial services environment, working closely with technical and business stakeholders. No nostalgia required, just solid engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL applications within the FIS Systematics suite such as IMPACS, ALS, and ST
Deliver scalable solutions aligned to business and technical requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve production and non production issues efficiently
Contribute to code reviews and uphold development best practice
Support integrations, upgrades, and system migrations
Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
Provide production support and participate in on call where required

Essential Experience
Proven COBOL development experience within banking or financial services
Strong hands-on experience with FIS Systematics core banking modules
Solid skills in JCL, VSAM, CICS, and DB2
Experience across batch and online processing
Good understanding of SDLC and change control
Clear communicator who works well in delivery driven teams

Desirable
Experience on large scale core banking migrations or upgrades
Exposure to Agile delivery environments
Experience working with distributed or global teams
