Our client within the private sector requires a proven Solutions Architect with a strong background in Azure to join their design investment technology team. You will be developing solution architectures and high-level designs for investment-focused technology, collaborating across geographies and partnering closely with Investments and Investment Operations to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, robust, and aligned to our technology standards, vision, and roadmap.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver high-quality solution architectures and designs that are fit for purpose, aligned to enterprise reference models, standards, and roadmaps.
• Facilitate technology decisions that accelerate adoption of new technologies in a controlled, rapidly changing environment; present solutions at governance forums.
• Operate within our governance and risk frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Experience: Extensive experience in technology design/engineering within Financial Services/Wealth Management; experience in solution architecture and design.

Domain understanding: Front, Middle, and Back Office processes; ability to bridge business and technology. Exposure to portfolio management (eg, Aladdin, iLevel, Calypso), execution management (eg, Bloomberg EMS, FXAll, TradeWeb), and investment data platforms (eg, Finbourne, GoldenSource, Eagle).

• Data & Cloud: Investments in data and modern data warehousing concepts; strong knowledge of cloud (preferably Azure).
• Technical depth: Azure PaaS, SQL Server, REST, API gateway architectures, Power Platform, Azure Data Platform, Python; DevOps including CI/CD; Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).

Highly desirable:

• Experience in regulated environments with sound governance awareness.
