We are recruiting for a talented Python/Object Orientated Programming Developer to join a Global Front Office team in a leading Investment Bank.

This role works cross-asset and is part of a multi-year transformation project with a large focus on optimisation and latency. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role is deeply integrated with other teams and platforms and plays a key role in shaping end-to-end trading workflows.

Requirements:

• Strong OOP experience - ideally Python/Java
• Experience with complex systems and working in high-throughput environments
• Experience with Multithreading/Concurrency/Containerisation/GitHub/Async programming
• Latency/optimisation is important - ideally milliseconds/caching systems
• Strong understanding of TDD and DevOps
• Ideal if someone has worked with quants/cross functional teams
