Location: London (hybrid working, 23 days in the office)
Salary:£35,000-£45,000 + benefits

About the role
A growing London-based FinTech is hiring a Junior Developer to join a small, product-focused engineering team working on a payments and account management platform used by UK and European customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or early-career developers to get hands-on experience building features that impact real users, while learning from experienced engineers in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What youll be doing
Contributing to features and improvements in a JavaScript and Python-based codebase
Supporting the development of REST APIs for customer onboarding, transactions, and reporting
Helping fix bugs and improve performance in existing services
Participating in code reviews and learning the teams testing and deployment processes
Collaborating with product managers and designers during sprint planning
What were looking for
Recent graduate or early-career developer with project, internship, or coursework experience in software development
Hands-on experience with JavaScript or Python (through projects, internships, or coursework)
Familiarity with Git and working in a team-based development workflow
Curious, motivated, and keen to learn professional software development practices
Comfortable asking questions and receiving feedback
Nice to have
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
Experience working with SQL databases
Interest in FinTech, payments, or regulated systems
