Page 1 Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, specialist comparison platform based in Cardiff. As the business continues to invest in its digital experience, our client is looking to appoint a UX Designer to strengthen their user-centred design capability and help shape intuitive, high-performing customer journeys.

This is an experienced individual contributor role (IC2), offering end-to-end ownership of UX delivery across discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iteration with no line management responsibility.

About You

• Solid, demonstrable experience working as a UX Designer beyond entry level
• Proven ability to own UX decisions end to end and clearly explain reasoning to stakeholders
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, usability, and accessibility
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools such as Figma
• Comfortable using research, data, and testing insight to inform and validate design decisions
• Experience collaborating closely with Web Development, Content, SEO, and Marketing teams

Bonus Points

• Experience working in product, tech, or performance-led environments
• Familiarity with analytics, CRO, or usability testing
• Exposure to HTML/CSS or strong awareness of implementation considerations
