FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Technical Project Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant and commercially successful projects while working closely with senior technical staff and project stakeholders.

As Technical Project Engineer, you will provide technical support across multiple projects, ensuring all works meet legislative requirements, client specifications and internal quality standards. You’ll prepare and manage drawings, support engineering design and temporary works, produce RAMS and project documentation, and act as a key point of contact between the client, site teams and external parties. You will attend design reviews, assess design changes, progress meetings and contribute to safe, efficient and environmentally responsible project delivery.

Main duties include:

• Produce, file and maintain technical drawings and project documentation
• Support Senior Technical Engineer with design, development and technical queries
• Prepare RAMS, CPPs, RFI schedules and as-built/Health & Safety Files
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and third parties
• Attend design, progress and review meetings
• Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental and quality management systems (ISO 9001/14001/45001)
• Support the agreement of variations and manage existing utility drawings
• Contribute to safe, efficient and cost-effective project outcomes

Suitable candidates should have the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil engineering/site engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and quality/HSEQ standards
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• CSCS card and full UK driving licence required

Candidates should be based locally to the Aberdeen area, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
