Description
FT Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of our long-term client by handling an opportunity for a .NET Developer with a strong data focus to join a local and growing business.
This is a hands-on, mixed-discipline role where your work will directly impact client onboarding, system integrations, and the development of core product features. You’ll move between code, data and client-facing work, helping streamline and improve how information flows into the platform.
You’ll support new client implementations by building and maintaining integrations with their systems, handling ETL and data migrations, preparing structured data for ingestion, and supporting the wider implementation team. When you’re not working on integrations, you’ll contribute to internal tooling or the wider .NET Core platform and API.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, manage and enhance data integrations with client systems, including APIs, flat files and legacy platforms
Plan, deliver and continuously optimise ETL processes to move and reshape data within the platform
Assist the onboarding team with precise and efficient data preparation, validation and management in Excel
Assess and define new client integration needs through investigation and analysis
Build and refine internal tools that improve the speed, accuracy and scalability of data ingestion
Work closely with client technical contacts to identify, interpret and extract data from undocumented or legacy systems, while also supporting development of the core .NET-based platform and client API
The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking ownership and isn’t afraid to get stuck into complex data challenges. You’ll be confident working with both data and code, able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and enjoy solving problems that genuinely make processes easier for clients.
Candidates should have Strong C#/.NET Framework and .NET Core experience, whilst having
Solid SQL skills (SQL Azure ideal)
Experience working with REST APIs, JSON and flat files
Understanding of ETL pipelines and data migration
Proficiency using Excel as a data tool
Experience in Azure or similar cloud environments
