Office Attendance: 2 days T he Role We are seeking experienced COBOL Developers / Engineers with hands-on expertise in FIS Systematics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting core banking applications, with a focus on the FIS Systematics suite. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our financial services clients. Your Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs within the FIS Systematics environment (e.g., IMPACS, ALS, ST, etc.).

Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration, upgrades, and migrations.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for new and existing applications.

Provide production support and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Your Profile Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience Proven experience in COBOL development, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

Strong hands-on experience with FIS Systematics core banking modules.

Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, CICS, and DB2.

Experience with batch and online processing.

Solid understanding of SDLC, change management, and quality assurance processes.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience Prior experience with large-scale banking system migrations or upgrades.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Experience working with global teams.
