About the Role
A leading global consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design
Engineer to join their expanding Building Services team. You will work on a wide
range of projects across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare,
defence, residential, and major public-sector programmes.
This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career, develop
technical expertise, and contribute to high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions
within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality electrical design solutions across multiple project stages.
Produce design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Support senior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
including mechanical, sustainability, architectural, and structural colleagues.
Attend client meetings, design workshops, and site inspections as required.
Contribute to digital design processes using tools such as Revit, CAD, and
electrical design software.
Assist in the development of design standards, best-practice processes, and
project documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Support junior team members where appropriate and engage in knowledge-
sharing across the team.
About You (Essential Requirements)
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related
discipline.
Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience delivering electrical design within
a consultancy environment.
Good understanding of building services principles, regulations, and design
standards.
Competent in software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux,
Trimble/Amtech, or similar.
Clear communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Keen interest in low-carbon design, digital engineering, and sustainable
building solutions.
Must be a British National
