We are currently working with a well-respected planning consultancy based in Crawley that is looking to appoint a Chartered Planner (MRTPI) as part of its continued growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planner who is looking for high-quality project exposure, a supportive team environment, and the chance to develop their career within an established and reputable consultancy serving the South East.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a varied workload covering residential, commercial, and mixed-use development, supporting private sector clients across Crawley, West Sussex, and the wider South East. The role offers a good balance of responsibility and support, making it ideal for someone keen to consolidate and build on their chartered experience.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and pre-application submissions
Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients
Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and project teams
Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
Supporting senior colleagues on more complex schemes
About You
MRTPI qualified
Experience within a planning consultancy or a commercially focused local authority role
Strong understanding of the UK planning system
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Well organised, proactive, and client focused
