What you'll be doing: \* Developing and integrating complex software systems for maritime test and evaluation facilities. \* Supporting the design, development, testing, and delivery of digital signal processing solutions. \* Collaborating effectively with stakeholders, customers, and colleagues across various platforms. \* Managing change control and configuration processes to ensure quality and consistency. \* Applying your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimise software solutions. What you'll bring: \* Strong problem-solving and engineering skills with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. \* Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering complex software systems. \* Proficiency in C++ and Linux environment development. \* Knowledge of analogue-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analogue (DAC) converters and digital signal processing. \* Effective communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders. Desirable skills include: \* Experience in defence or related sectors. \* Embedded software development for target hardware. \* Familiarity with coding standards, static code analysis, and Agile practices such as Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, and BDD. \* Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket. Qualifications & Experience: \* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. \* 4-7 years of software development experience across multiple programming languages.
