Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer

Location: Staverton, Trowbridge

Initial Location: Manchester (3–6 months – accommodation provided)

Length of Contract: 2 years

Rate: £500 - £550 per day (Outside IR35)

Start: End of January (possibility to start earlier)

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager or Project Engineer with a background in FMCG manufacturing? This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects across FMCG.

The role will initially be based in the Manchester to learn systems, standards, and ways of working before moving onto a long-term project in Staverton, where you’ll be site-based delivering electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver electrical projects safely, on time, and within budget
• Manage labour, contractors, materials, and suppliers
• Lead and support teams of electricians on site
• Act as the main point of contact for clients
• Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards
• Control project costs and performance

Requirements:

• Experienced Electrical Engineer
• Electrical Qualifcation
• 17th or 18th Edition qualified
• 10+ years’ electrical and project experience within FMCG manufacturing
• Strong background in food
• Proven experience leading electrical teams and managing projects
• Sound commercial awareness with experience managing budgets
• Site supervisory card, ECS, NEBOSH, SSSTS, etc.
