Description
Software Engineer (Mid-Senior Level) - Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) - £45,000 - £55,000 I’m partnering with a scaling, technology-first organisation in the digital services sector that’s expanding its engineering capability in Leeds. They’re looking for a mid-senior Software Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of solutions and influencing how software is built - not just writing code. This role would suit someone confident in their craft, happy to mentor others, and keen to work on meaningful, long-term projects using a modern Microsoft stack. The Opportunity You’ll join a team of 10 engineers , made up of a mix of mid and senior developers, working in cross-functional squads alongside Product, QA and UX. The team is responsible for: Designing and developing high-availability .NET applications Driving improvements across performance, security and scalability Leading the development of new features from concept through to release Playing a key role in cloud migration and system modernisation Sharing best practices and supporting less experienced developers Tech Stack (Microsoft-Centric) C# / .NET 6+ ASP.NET Core / RESTful APIs Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, SQL) SQL Server Entity Framework Core Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines) Git Front-end exposure to React or Angular (beneficial, not essential) What They’re Looking For Strong commercial experience as a Software Engineer Solid background in C# and modern .NET Experience designing and consuming APIs Confident working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior developers Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Salary & Benefits £45,000 - £55,000 , depending on experience 25 days holiday + bank holidays Flexible working hours Pension contribution Private healthcare Why This Role?
