In your new role:

Manage data integrity to meet all corporate and legal reporting requirements
Maintain and develop a Register of Opportunities to track and deliver energy efficiency projects
Support compliance requirements by managing permit variations and liaising with local regulatory bodies (NIEA, Utility Regulator)
Assist with energy procurement and supplier management, attending quarterly reviews where required
Represent the client at industry seminars and workshops, keeping abreast of emerging energy trends and legislation
Oversee energy and water budget management, including invoice validation, accruals, and purchase order processes
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all energy-related activities
What you will need to succeed:
A primary degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within a similar role
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of energy management systems and compliance reporting
Track record of delivering measurable energy reduction projects
Ability to manage complex data, budgets, and performance metrics
IT proficiency (MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don’t worry if you don’t):
ISO 50001 Auditor certification
NEBOSH qualification or equivalent health & safety certification
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
