A growing AI-driven SaaS company is hiring an Engineering Lead to lead delivery and technical direction while remaining hands-on. This role suits a senior engineer or DevOps lead ready to step into people leadership.
As an Engineering Lead, you’ll lead a small cross-functional team, own technical delivery, and work closely with senior stakeholders to scale a secure, high-quality platform.
Responsibilities
Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable software
Remain hands-on with complex technical work and code reviews
Manage, mentor, and develop engineers
Own sprint planning, backlogs, and agile delivery
Ensure strong AWS infrastructure and DevOps practices
Support AI, automation, and CI/CD initiatives
Embed security best practices and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
8-10 years’ engineering experience; 2+ years in a leadership role
Strong AWS, DevOps, and cloud-native experience
Proficient in Java and Python
Experience with agile delivery and SaaS products
Understanding of AI, MLOps, and automation
Strong communication and stakeholder skills
Comfortable supporting US-based customers
Nice to have: Startup experience, Azure exposure, UX awareness
