Location: Saffron Walden (CB11) Job Type: Permanent Hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 35901 We are seeking a Graduate RandD Software Engineer to join our Saffron Walden based client. You will join a fast-growing research and technology company to support a wide range of research and development activities. This role suits an early-career engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving and hands-on technical work. Responsibilities
Develop innovative software solutions alongside the engineering team
Build tools for data gathering, preprocessing and optimisation for ML and algorithm development
Maintain and support operational Linux-based systems
Contribute to a broad mix of RandD, software, data science and technical problem-solving tasks Requirements Essential
Recent STEM graduate (2:1 or above)
Strong skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++)
Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Motivated, adaptable and keen to learn across multiple technical areas Desirable
Python experience and familiarity with ML/data science libraries
Interest in signals, RF or SDRs
Knowledge of Git, Docker or cloud platforms
Academic/project experience in ML, data science or DSP
