We are seeking an experienced Principal Azure Engineer to join a high-profile central government project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise and proven experience in secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based solutions across IaaS and PaaS services.
• Lead on containerisation strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure robust networking architecture and identity access management (IAM) practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions.

Essential Technical Skills

• Azure Services: Logic Apps, Web Apps, App Gateways, VNets, APIM
• Containerisation: Service Fabric, Docker
• Version Control: GIT
• Scripting: PowerShell or equivalent
• Database: SQL, Entity Framework
• Infrastructure as Code: ARM Templates, Terraform
• Identity & Access: Azure Entra/AAD, Azure B2C
• DevOps: YAML, CI/CD
• Networking Architecture & IAM

Experience

• Strong background in central government projects.
• Ability to work in highly secure environments with active SC and NPPV3 clearance.
