Were working with an exciting company who are looking for a Web Developer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in WordPress who is keen to expand their skills and take on increasing responsibility.

What the role involves:

• Building, customising, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Assisting with front-end and back-end development tasks.
• Turning designs and requirements into fully functional, responsive, and SEO-optimised sites.
• Integrating third-party tools, APIs, and e-commerce platforms.
• Supporting troubleshooting, bug fixes, and general technical problem-solving.
• Keeping up to date with WordPress updates, trends, and best practices.

What were looking for:

• Some proven experience with WordPress.
• Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with WordPress theme and plugin customisation.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Basic awareness of website performance optimisation and SEO.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Desirable skills:

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce integrations.
• Knowledge of page builders such as Elementor.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Awareness of accessibility and security best practices.
