About the Role
We are seeking a skilledMid-Level Salesforce Developerto join my clients growing fintech engineering team. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our Salesforce platform to support high-performance financial products, compliant workflows, and exceptional customer experiences. Youll work closely with product, operations, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy custom solutions usingLightning Web Components (LWC),Apex,SOQL/SOSL, andSalesforce APIs.
- Configure Salesforce objects, flows, validation rules, process automation, and integrations.
- Maintain and improve existing codebase, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Support CI/CD processes, code review, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in afast-paced fintech environmentto deliver features and enhancements on schedule.
- Ensure all development meets financial-services compliance, security, and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 35 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong proficiency with:
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Apex Classes, Triggers, Test Classes
- REST/SOAP APIs
- SOQL & SOSL
- Experience with Salesforce platform features including Flows, Service Cloud or Sales Cloud, and custom objects.
- Understanding of development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and unit testing.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
Desirable Skills
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I / II, Administrator, or other relevant).
- Experience in the fintech or financial services sector.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Copado, Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards relevant to financial data.
- Experience with data migration tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or ETL tools).
