A large chemical manufacturing company are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work a Permanent Nights shift (38 Hours per week), Monday – Friday. Based at their site in Alfreton, Derbyshire, you will be required to complete Maintenance, Repair and Breakdown duties on a variety of mechanical and electrical machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Engineer that has worked on equipment such as conveyors, rollers, pumps, motors and inkjet printers to join a market leader in their industry and further opportunities to progress in the business.

Skills required for an Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias with engineering based qualifications.
• Worked within a manufacturing or production environment previously, ideally fast-paced.
• Skilled in fault-finding, root cause analysis and safe repair practices.
• Proactive, hands on, team orientated and good communication skills.
• Be willing to work a Permanent Nights Shift, Monday – Thursday 10pm – 6am and Friday 6pm – 12am (38 Hour Working Week).
• Be able to work in Confined spaces.
