G.R.E. Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading SaaS based Automation Company who are looking to add a Principal Full Stack Java Developer to their dynamic scaling development team. This role will initially be once a fortnight in the Berkshire based office as they plan to move to new offices in Reading - then it will be twice per week in the office from March 2026.
For this role I am looking for a Principal/Tech Lead Full Stack Java Developer with 8yrs+ exp with Java 11/17, Spring MVC, REST API’s, Microservices, AWS/GCP/Azure with leadership experience of driving high impact technical decisions - this role is 75% hands on / 25% hands off leadership exp.
Skills nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes, Cypress, Playwright, TDD, BDD, Gradle, Tomcat

The company provide a hugely impactful business/mission critical automation platform that supports iconic brands all over the world. They have recently been bought out by a huge US based company.

An example of the impact their automation platform provides is they recently supported a world renowned FinTech client with an on-premise solution that Scaled to a 9x increase in transactions:Since the migration, the client has seen its volume of customer transactions soar from 7 million to 60 million a day, up nearly 9x. Process executions have risen from 5,000 to 40,000 a day. The solution hasnt missed a beat.
