Senior Embedded Engineer - Cambridge - Hybrid (2 - 3 days in office) - £60,000 to £75,000 per year

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing company to assist with their recruitment of a Senior Embedded Engineer.

The successful candidate will be creating and developing embedded software for the most advanced distributed spectral monitoring systems, with modern C++17 or 20 in user space on a Linux operating system.

Specific responsibilities include:

All aspects of the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and training.

Programming high quality software

Creating functional designs and specifications

Writing Scripts for test automation

Reviewing code and providing feedback to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Requirements:

Science degree in Computer Science or Electronics

C++17 or 20 programming skills in a Linux environment

Linux Shell Scripting

Python

Docker

Git

Postgres

Science degree in computer science or Electronics

Experience in a fast-paced Engineering environment

RF (Radio Frequency) or similar experience - Highly desirable

Digital Signal Processing - Highly desirable
