Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Java Full Stack) Guildford / WFH to £80k

Do you have strong Java skills combined with full stack development experience?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a scaling technology company that produces software solutions for the defence and civil aviation sector.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and develop client based features and enhancements, working across the full technology stack on confidential projects. You’ll use a range of technology with a focus on Java, Spring Boot and Angular within a microservices environment using TDD and SOLID design principles in a collaborative, diverse team environment.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Guildford office 1-2 days a week.

About you:

You have strong Java backend development skills, ideally including Spring Boot

You have front end experience with Angular or other JavaScript framework

You have a good knowledge of databases and SQL

You have a good understanding of microservices, TDD / BDD, SOLID design principles, DevOps, CI/CD

You’re collaborative and pragmatic, happy to take ownership and work with other Engineers, Data Scientists and DevOps

Please note: You must have SC Clearance (or ability to achieve it - i.e. you must be a British citizen with the past 5 years continually based in the UK) due to the nature of the project / client
