Installation Electrician | £19.30/hr + Overtime & Van | UK Travel + US Trips | Heywood, Greater Manchester

Fed up of seeing the same walls every day? Want something a bit more hands-on, with work that takes you further afield?

If youre an Installation Electrician with a knack for wiring up real-world solutions and you dont mind packing a bag now and again, this could be a good move.

The job is mostly UK-based with projects across the country. Youll also travel overseas, typically two or three times a year, for three to four weeks at a time. Thats paid, supported and planned well in advance. If international travels a no-go for you, fair enough, but this probably isnt the role for you.

Heres what youll be doing:

• Installing and wiring control panels, LV power and lighting systems
• Testing, commissioning and collaborating with the controls team
• Working on-site across the UK and abroad, including CDM environments
• Keeping things safe and compliant (18th Edition and common sense required)

Whats in it for you:

• £19.30/hr (around £40K FTE), but with typical earnings of £50k£60Kk including overtime and allowances
• Weekday overtime: first 12 hours flat, then 1.3x
• Saturdays paid at 1.5x, Sundays at 2x
• Paid overnight stays, plus a company van
• 40 hours a week, with flexibility where needed
• Training, support and plenty of variety

Youll need:

• Electrical installation experience, ideally in commercial or industrial settings
• 18th Edition, Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, ECS Gold Card
• Full UK driving licence (van provided)
• A good attitude on site and a willingness to travel

Extra bonus if youve got 2391-52, IPAF or CompEx, but not essential.
