This is your chance to get hands-on experience with the latest technology, earn while you learn, and build real skills that could set you up for an amazing career in IT. Youll be part of a friendly team that supports over 200 UK businesses, working with everything from laptops and networks to cloud systems and cybersecurity.

In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Help keep systems secure by resetting passwords, setting up logins, and making sure antivirus protection is up to date.
• Read and follow IT guides, manuals, and diagrams to solve problems and learn how systems work.
• Log and track IT issues using the companys helpdesk system, making sure problems are fixed quickly and recorded properly.
• Provide support to staff and customers in person, by email, over the phone, and using remote support tools.
• Build and upgrade computers, set up printers, and help maintain office equipment.
• Install and update software such as Windows, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
• Assist with setting up and fixing internet connections, Wi-Fi, and other network devices.
• Learn about cloud services (such as Microsoft Azure) and use simple scripts to make everyday IT tasks easier.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to think on your feet and solve any complex issues with empathy
• Keen to learn
• Desire to gain further industry recognised qualifications
• Grade 5 in English & Grade 4 in Maths

• £18,000 per annum
• 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday to Friday

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, well support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.

Youll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, youll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

Youll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
