Are you an Intermediate Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your building services career
A respected and growing consultancy in Huntingdon is seeking a motivated engineer to join their Electrical team and work across a wide variety of projects.

This role offers strong progression, hands-on project exposure, and the chance to develop toward senior level with full support.

The Role

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Assist in the design and delivery of electrical building services across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and industrial sectors
• Produce calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications
• Work with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools
• Attend internal and external design team meetings
• Support low-carbon and energy-efficient design solutions
• Carry out site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments
• Work closely with senior engineers and contribute to multidisciplinary coordination

What You’ll Bring

• 2-5 years’ experience in electrical building services engineering
• Knowledge of LV systems, lighting, small power, containment, fire alarms, security systems, and general electrical design principles
• Experience using electrical design software (e.g., Dialux, Amtech)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to continue learning
• Working towards IEng/CEng (training and support provided)
