Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Salary: £45,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, (10pm-6am)

Location: Liverpool

About the maintenance engineer role:

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of specialist manufacturing equipment. You will play a key part in ensuring our production line runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

The Machinery The Maintenance Engineer Will Be Work On:

• You’ll be supporting and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment, including:
• Bespoke furnaces (operating up to 600°C)
• Polishers
• Intermac CNC machines
• Laminate ovens
• Sand blasters

What We’re Looking For In a Maintenance Engineer

• A proactive engineer with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• A solid background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team on rotating shifts

Electrical:

• Three-phase systems
• Star-delta wiring
• Motors & motor control
• Sensors & relays
• Inverters

Mechanical:

• Hydraulics & pneumatics
• Belts, chains & gearboxes
• Bearings
• General mechanical fault-finding
